"Make Me Happy" was released on November 23, 2014. "Make Me Happy" has an anti-bullying message. We've released three other singles and just released our debut EP! Check them out!"

These two girls have a bright future ahead. They have already proven themselves again and again and they show no signs of slowing down. We are happy to have included these girls in our Coconut Spotlight. Keep an eye out for Carly and Martina this year!

Emily Zeck

Emily Zeck

Emily has teamed up with producer Gazzo and taken her music in a new direction combining electronic elements with her trademark tropical and beach vibe.

21-year-old singer/songwriter and Florida native, Emily Zeck's first single, “Pacific Blue”, off her debut EP “Good Vibe Tribe”, has already reached over 2.5 million plays on Spotify – an incredible achievement for the debut of an indie artist.

The last eight months have been a whirlwind for Emily as she’s moved to LA, had 2 songs added to the Starbucks global network, was featured on a song by KLYMVX released on Sony France that has already received 2 million streams since its debut in December, has taken meetings with movie and TV executives in Hollywood, and shared the stage with country superstar Jake Owen.  During that time her following has skyrocketed to over 380K and continues to climb at a blistering pace. - Press Release Excerpt

LYNN

LYNN

Singing from the moment she can remember, Lynn was gracing stages by the time she was just five years old and by the age of nine she was jotting lyrics in her notepad wherever she went. At high school, she had a little trouble fitting into established cliques turning to music as her escape. With no fewer than 4 piano teachers fighting a losing battle against the youngsters ADHD, Lynn had already gained enough confidence on the instrument on her own via trial and error:

“It became a habit that anytime I felt upset or mad about something that happened to me I would just put it in a song”

ged just 17, the singer displays an enviable level of maturity on her debut single. “ Can’t Let Go” was written and composed by Lynn with producer Yoad Nevo (who famously worked with Sia, Moby and Sophie Ellis Bextor to name but a few) at Nevo Sound Studios in London. - Press excerpt from official website

Fetherstone

Fetherstone

Having released three albums under her own name in Australia and Japan, hopping between Sydney, New York, Canada and Europe to write, record and tour, Briana Cowlishaw is no stranger to finding new ways to tell stories. Inspired by the artistic lineage of her family (in particular her grandmother Edith Featherstone Cowlishaw), and the creative scene in London, she brings a new project to light - the electronic indie pop-infused Fetherstone. Drawing sonic flavors from the likes of Tom Misch, Lianne La Havas, Mura Masa, Little Dragon, Laura Mvula, Oh Pep! and Katie Noonan, this new offering is an exciting demarcation from Briana's jazz roots. - Excerpt from official website

Briana is an exceptionally talented artist who is showing no signs of slowing down. She is constantly innovating and keeping a positive and energetic attitude. We are thrilled we crossed paths and we cannot wait to hear more from her.

We can't even begin to start explaining the talent Sticks brings to the scene. His passion, innovative live-shows, dedication, and enthusiasm are what makes Sticks so amazing. He is nothing short of genius. His newest project "Forgive Me" compiles a fresh mix like never before. This is not some ordinary mix with song after song, but instead, showcases artistic ingenuity and innovation.

Sticks creatively combine rhythmic, melodic, and vocal elements - from rock, hip-hop, reggae, pop, R&B, and EDM - to create a cohesive sound with self-produced percussion. Needless to say, Sticks is one of a kind and he is showing no signs of slowing down!

SICKICK

SICKICK

We are excited to be showcasing the Toronto-based hip-hop and dance music artist Sickick. Sickick is an artist that we will be keeping a close eye on this year. His whole image and brand will hook you in before you even listen to his music. (Just look at that mysterious photo! Who is this!?) Once you hear what Sickick brings to the music scene, you will be enthralled. His musical talent is not to be ignored! You can listen to his previous releases on SoundCloud. (Click the photo above) His music is just one aspect of what he brings to the table.

"The thing about Sickick is that he always wears a mask -- every show, every performance, every public appearance.  A decision he attributes to his laser-focused commitment to the music, rather than the need to promote an identity based on physicality, ethnicity, race or culture. His masked appearance makes a powerful statement about stereotypes and music genres." - Press Excerpt from Website

Normally we would look at masks as a gimmick but Sickick has a story to tell and the mask works flawlessly with his image. This is how it is done.

"Sickick is pretty well-known as far as indie artists go, he opened for Drake last year and is making waves with 15M+ views on YouTube .

Emma Elisabeth

Emma Elisabeth

We want to welcome the beautifully talented artist and songwriter, Emma Elisabeth. Emma is a Swedish musician and songwriter from Höllviken, Skåne, who's currently residing in Berlin.

The first time we heard Emma's talent, we couldn't let it go unnoticed. Her vocals are astounding. The production on her music is sensational and brings happy and relaxed vibes.

You can check out her new single "Where Do Tears Go" and her previous releases above by clicking the picture.

Emma Elisabeth writes effortlessly flowing pop melodies covering them in a jangly, organic sound. Her sound is distinctive and playful with a very classic approach to songwriting. Her heart is beating for fuzzy rock and country, while pop music is pouring out of her soul. Elegantly intoxicated and somewhat channeling elements of 90's melancholia and 70's vocal arrangements. Her crush on women like Stevie, Debbie, Dolly, Patti and Marianne is a source of inspiration. As is her fascination with dirty old New York, West Coast Rock and heroes like Lou, Bob and Neil. -Excerpt from her press

Here is what Emma had to say regarding her newest release: "For two weeks I was living in a flat in Hollywood, and one day I was lying in bed staring at the ceiling and started writing this melody and lyrics in my head. The next day I went to my colleague Jimmy's studio, showed him my idea and we finished it. I didn't really know what it was about at the time, just that I though it was beautifully sad. But now I know exactly what it means to me, it's like I wrote about something that was about to happen."

mma is on our "Ones To Watch" for 2017!

Velvet Winter

Velvet Winter

Velvet Winter singer songwriter Talon Majors has had quite the life journey to end up where she is today. Traveling from the cool clean mountains of Colorado to the smog filled cityscape of Los Angeles, Majors is anything but your run of the mill pop singer. Talon's voice is uniquely soothing, yet compelling and edgy. Combining cool blues tones with jazz and indie pop rock elements, she has definitely found where she belongs. "I actually didn't start as a vocalist. My first love was saxophone. Then it was drums." Talon's musical journey began at an early age. She played alto saxophone in elementary school and transitioned to tenor sax in middle school. She was gifted her first drum set by her uncle Pete at age 14. She fondly recalls the rebellious teenage 'garage band days'.

"I've always loved loud music and crazy hair. I've also always been incredibly outspoken and somewhat of a free thinker. I learned at a young age how incredibly judgmental people can be about anyone they do not understand." After moving to Los Angeles in late 2013, Talon began songwriting. "I battled drinking and anxiety meds for years. I guess I have the classic 'artist with a broken past thing' working for me!" She laughs. Nightmares of a life splattered with abuse and addiction plagued her for years.

"I hope to connect with people with troubled pasts whether its drug abuse, eating disorders, sexual orientation and others. My heart goes out to people with depression, PTSD and other illnesses that you can't see on the surface." After a nearly fatal health scare at the end of 2015 Talon recorded her first 3 song ep with producer Doug Grean. She ventured vocally into new terrain this year and named her project Velvet Winter. Talon is currently working with producers Andrew Furze and Todd Bergman. The sound is largely experimental, ranging from electronic soaked indie rock to sultry and seductive Spanish guitar. "The project has so much happening now I wouldn't know where to begin. You'll just have to wait and see!"

Luminize

Luminize

Marcela, Matilda, Irena, and Tea are Luminize. These four young ladies were born and raised in Croatia but moved to the Netherlands three years ago to fulfill their long-lasting dream to conquer the world with their music. Twilight is an edgy song, with a 'dark pop' sound, mixing melodic pop vocals with dark instrumental and electronic influences.

We are thrilled to have been introduced to these wonderful ladies and their beautiful musical talents. They are truly unique in every way and we cannot get enough.

Their new single "Twilight" is out now which you can watch and listen by clicking the above photo. This new single is everything you dreamed of. The gorgeous vocal performance is fresh and infectious. The harmonies are exceptional and every note is parallel to the next. The emotion brought to this song is something of beauty. Mix this with the raw talent of each talented vocalist and you get a stunning new release that can't be ignored. Trust us, this is astounding. We also want to touch on the video. The art and cinematography are next level. You are going to love it.

Keep your eye on "Luminize" as they are just getting started!
